Michael Harrison is a retired Special Agent (Chief Warrant Officer), US Army, specializing in Counterintelligence Operations, Counterespionage Investigations and Force Protection.  Michael has worked as a security specialist for more than 26 years, operating in 11 different countries.  Michael brings over 20 years of Counterespionage Investigations-operations, Terrorism Counteraction investigations-operations, Physical Security, Personnel Security, Information Security, OPSec, Open Source Collection, Strategic Debriefer, and Interrogations experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Southeast Missouri State University, as well as four specialized security and investigative certifications from the Department of Defense. He is an active member in BOMA, IREM, ASIS and SAAA. Michael serves as the Board of Directors for Building Owners Management Association - SA (BOMA SA), Vice Chairman of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) San Antonio Chapter and is a Private Investigator licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Michael will be briefing the ASIS Austin chapter on best practices for self defense and situational awareness.  We hope you will join us for an exciting and engaging topic.  Register Now
